Service Center Helps Woman Cover Rent and Heat in Winter

She has lived in Falmouth her whole life. But just after her mother died in December last year, she faced not being able to make rent. Her job in food service was insufficient for her to make the $550 she needed to stay in the house she leases from the Falmouth Housing Authority.

To keep herself and her two kids from having to move, she called the Falmouth Service Center and asked for help covering the last few hundred dollars she needed for her rent check.
