Postal Food Drive
Every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day, The National Association of Letter Carriers conducts a national food drive. Households are asked to hang food on their mailboxes that their letter carriers then pick up and deliver to the local food pantry.
Here in Falmouth, we are the lucky recipient of that generous outpouring of food from our many thoughful neighbors. This year we received approximately 9 tons of food which brought variety to our food shelves. We were grateful to the many postal workers and volunteers who worked tirelessly on that day to bring the food, sort the food and stock our shelves.
Thank you for helping us to Stamp Out Hunger!
